My precious child, you are not merely a product of our love. You are a product of God’s love. He chose you while your growing form was yet unknown to us. He thoughtfully considered your existence before your first breath. He wrote your days into His book of life before one of them ripened.
He gifted us a glimpse of multiplying cells on a fuzzy, dark screen. Your heartbeat thundered through the room and mine thundered through my ears. He revealed your newly formed shape. You were a tiny, bean-sized, being who was fragile but strong, unfinished but finished.
He delights in your details, and we delight in observing how those particulars come to be. Your eyes, nose, lips, hair, skin, ears, and fingerprints are strokes of the Master’s brush. Your marvelous design reflects Him—and us.
You are ours, knit within, chosen and loved. But, even more, you are His, knit together, chosen and loved.
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.
EPHESIANS 1:11 NIV
You are far more than a product of our love. You are a product of God’s love.
God chose you while your growing form was yet unknown to us.
We were gifted with a glimpse of multiplying cells on a fuzzy, dark screen.
Your newly formed shape, tiny and bean-sized. Fragile but strong, unfinished but finished.
EPHESIANS 1:11 – NIV

He delights in your details, and we delight in observing how those particulars came to be.
Your eyes, nose, lips, hair, skin, ears and fingerprints are strokes of the Master’s brush.
You are ours, knit within, chosen and loved. But, even more, You are His, knit together, chosen and loved.
