Page 53 – “The Beautiful Paradoxes of Life” Unexpected Love: Digital Interactive Devotional and Bible Study

Motherhood: feed, diaper, love, repeat. The endless cycle of endless days generates years gone too quickly. It’s longing for tomorrow when you nap on schedule, tie your own shoes, or hold a conversation.

It’s wanting back yesterday because you are growing too fast. It’s a richness that lacks monetary value.

It’s being the final authority while knowing I hold no real authority at all.

As the paradoxes of motherhood prove true, I look deeper into the paradoxes of faith.

Get low to lift God high. Seeking wisdom displays wisdom. I lose my life to save it. I can know the mysterious God. Those who serve are blessed. We give and we gain. The weak are strong. Through faith, I come as a child but put away childish things. I confess my doubts and receive not an answer, but more faith.

When you were born these paradoxes proved true.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

PROVERBS 9:10 NIV
