Your grin. Your wink of the eye. Your laugher with similar abandonment are all traits of your father. You mimic your father’s tone, compassion and prayers.
You watch your daddy work hard, and you vow to become a hard worker. You never give up or settle because you are your father’s child.
You imitate your father as he imitates our Father…learning to easily love, readily forgive and willingly sacrifice.
Fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control…These are not inherited. These are learned after time spent with Him.
You are our Father’s child.
EPHESIANS 5:1 – ESV
