Page 63 – “Like a Child” Unexpected Love: Digital Interactive Devotional and Bible Study

You touch and taste the world with trembling anticipation. An insatiable appetite heaps up books, begging for just one more. Empathy stirs deep feelings and deeper thoughts.

You are utterly dependent, trusting in our provision, forgiving when we fail, entering each day with hope and joy.

And we come to God like this, like a child.

With trembling eagerness, seeking Him in all creation. An insatiable appetite for holy wisdom probes His Word. Empathy stirs deep feelings and even deeper thoughts about justice and responsibility.

We are utterly dependent, trusting in Jesus’ payment, embracing forgiveness, approaching Him like a child.

Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child, shall not enter it.

LUKE 18:17 ESV
