The books pile high. Fairies. Royalty. Adventure. Tragedy. We snuggle in for just one more. Your eyes drift closed and I weave a story, my story.
We all have a story to tell.
A harrowing drama might clutch your heart. Unimaginable adventures might whisk you away. Good and evil will clash. Who will prevail? There are many stories, but one hero.
One hero wrote our stories before the creation of the world, knowing He would enter in and empower us to reach up toward God as He reached down to us. My hero is your hero.
He left His kingdom to pursue us because our stories are not really about us.
Our stories are for the glory of God.
So live a story worth telling, reflecting how God walks with you through every paragraph, page, and chapter. Make your story one worth living.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
