For the Adopted Child.
My belly didn’t swell with your form, but my heart did. I didn’t rush to the hospital and endure hours of labor, I endured endless paperwork and hours, months, and years of waiting.
I was waiting for you. I found you. And you found me.
You don’t have my eyes, or Dad’s nose or Papa’s smile. Yet somehow you are a beautiful collection of the best of us, uniquely designed to be you. You reflect what really matters – character traits instilled with love.
You are an extension of me, a reflection of us.
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
GENESIS 1:27 NIV
Dedicated to my nephew Liam. We are so thankful for you.
