Adam and Eve bruised this world by their transgression…sending creation into a downward spiral of sickness, sorrow, death and evil.
It breaks God’s heart.
His creation chose greed over generosity, flesh over purity, selfishness over love.
It hurts His holiness.
Devastating sin. My child you have inherited this black stain of sin. Weep for your own brokenness that wounds the holiness of God.
No escaping the pain that comes through life in a fallen creation. No escaping your part in shattering God’s perfection. No escaping the sin that you must wrestle down and surrender. No escape, But there is VICTORY.
God extends grace through Jesus. When you repent and surrender Jesus can free you from the penalty of sin. Replacing your ache for self with an ache for God.
ROMANS 7:15-19 – NIV
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do — this I keep on doing.
