Shades of princess. Glossy pouts. Flitting eyelashes. Quivering lips. Warm cheeks. Sweet exhalation. Beautiful? Yes.
But godly beauty digs deeper. It is unfading, unaltered by age, race, or dress size. It cannot be purchased and lacks worldly glitter. It promises inerasable loveliness.
True beauty roots in a heart in love with our Lord. It blooms into a woman worth far more than rubies. More than polish, styles, or charms, emulate a beauty that never fades.
Cultivate a gentle spirit obedient to God.
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewellery and fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
