You’ve outgrown our home. You’re on your own, making your own way in this crazy world. You no longer look to me for the answers, and that’s okay.
It’s okay that you’ve outgrown your dependence upon me. It’s okay that your heart has been captured by love. It’s okay to become one half of a marriage union as long as you never outgrow your dependence upon the Lord. He speaks bold words about making your way in His world and providing for a family.
Aspire to live quietly. Mind your own affairs. Work hard, so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one.
Do not grow weary of doing good. Do all things without grumbling or questioning and you will shine in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation.
Declare today that your home will serve the Lord.
Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
COLOSSIANS 3:17 ESV
All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.
