Two minds and Two wills. One must lead and One must follow. Tensions will rise.
Seek wisdom in your marriage roles. Wisdom comes from the Lord and is found in the Word. Receive it and treasure its commands. Call out to the Lord for insight, incline your heart to understand His ways.
Proverbs 9:10 – NIV
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One.
Seek wisdom like silver; pursue it like a hidden treasure. You begin to comprehend the fear of the Lord; procuring a sweet and reverent awe of God, Creator King.
The world challenges our God-given roles in marriage but it leads to ruin. Despising understanding and forgetting wisdom’s instruction.
You are meant for more than this world. You are created for eternity. You are made in the image of the Lord Jesus. Seeking Him is the beginning of wisdom. Seeking Him first is foundational in a healthy marriage.
1 PETER 4:8–9 – ESV
Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling.
