The farmer sows seed, some seed scatters on the path, feeding birds, some seed falls in rocky places, some seed falls in good soil, some seeds root. Yet, the farmer keeps farming.
The enemy devours what scatters. The seeds of unforgiveness can cause a hardened heart. Idolatrous thorns choke off breath.
One seed planted deeply roots a soft heart, and grows in good soil. Be the seed that grows into a fruit-producing tree pruned by the gardener. Painful experiences stretch limbs high toward the sun and send roots deep in search of water. Lift your arms high in dependence and worship spread your roots deep into living water.
Be the seed that flourishes, producing God-pleasing fruit by abiding in Him.
JOHN 15:5 – NIV
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
